Kent Higginbotham

President 

A St. Louis native, Kent R. Higginbotham represents the third generation of Higginbothams in real estate and construction. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate and a retired Captain of the Naval Reserve, Kent flew helicopters on active duty for seven years. In 1983, he returned to St. Louis to join the firm, first as a construction project manager, then as assistant estimator. Kent is active in his community and served on the Board of Directors of the Independence Center and the advisory board of UMB Bank, is a past chairman of the Custom Builders Council of the Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis, and is a member of the Certified Builders Guild. He is also active with his church, where he is an Elder. Kent and his wife, Victoria, have five grown children.

Bruce Korn

Vice President

Bruce H. Korn was born in Buffalo, New York, and graduated from Ithaca College. In 1975, Bruce moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he worked as a master carpenter and, in 1976, he founded Steamboat Mountain Builders, Inc., which specialized in land development and custom home construction. After nine years of successful homebuilding in Colorado, Bruce moved his family to St. Louis for an opportunity to co-develop Sedgwick Place Condominiums with Higginbotham Bros., Inc. Bruce became a Higginbotham partner in 1987. He is active in the community, as he served on the Board of Directors of The Western Golf Association and is a past Board member of The University Club. Bruce has six grown children.
